Adams Kenneally White (AKW), a team of Chartered Accountants & Wealth Advisers, is currently seeking a Senior Accountant to immediately join our Griffith Office.

With our firm experiencing significant growth, this is a career-advancement opportunity for an experienced, hands-on accountant who wants to advance in team leadership and management reporting. Remuneration will be commensurate with your experience. 

Your Role

The successful applicant will be degree qualified, having commenced their CA or CPA and possess excellent communication skills, for this is a client-facing role.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Assisting with the management of a diverse industry client base

  • Taxation and business advisory

  • Client financial and management accounting

  • Client liaison and business development

  • Preparation of financial statements

  • Mentoring and guiding junior staff

  • Actively contributing to development initiatives across AKW

To be successful in this role you will be able to work to strict deadlines and enjoy contributing to a fun, professional working environment. You will take ownership of this role and be passionate about teamwork and creating a connected corporate culture.

Important skills you will bring to the position include:

  • 4-6 years of experience in accounting to provide high-quality services to our clients

  • Ability to collaborate with a team of professionals to ensure accurate and timely reporting

  • Demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively liaise with clients and internal stakeholders

  • Showcase your attention to detail and thoroughness in auditing and financial analysis

  • Possess exceptional time management and organisational skills to efficiently meet deadlines

  • Thrive in a challenging environment that encourages innovative thinking and problem-solving.
